Editor's note: Syngenta Professional Products issued the following statement regarding the company’s recent decision to discontinue IMPASSE® Termite Blockers from the Syngenta product line:
In an industry in constant change, it is sometimes necessary to rethink and challenge ways of doing business to remain competitive and grow market position. In light of this, Syngenta Professional Products has announced that it will discontinue IMPASSE® Termite Blockers from the Syngenta product line. This allows the business unit to concentrate efforts on supporting and developing its general pest brands including Demand® and the Optigard® branded products, with new thiamethoxam chemistry. Syngenta will continue to provide liquid termite solutions through the Demon® Max and ProBuild® brands.
Syngenta has assisted authorized installers of Impasse Termite Blockers to complete existing obligations.
Customers will continue to receive the same high level of quality they’ve grown to expect from Syngenta – from the sales force and customer center, to service and support, to research and development. The company is dedicated to the professional pest control market and will continue to partner with customers to identify new ways to build its portfolio of pest control products
