Jerry Meers, founder of Meers Pest Solution and an active Texas Pest Control Association member, died on June 16. He was 68.
Meers was an entrepreneur and his love for cotton and agriculture led to the creation of his companies, Meers Pest Solutions, Meers Cotton Service, Great Plains Chemicals and Fumigation Services, and Meers Express. Due to Jerry's commitment to excellence, he was called to serve on the following boards: American Museum of Agriculture; South Plains Food Bank; Breedlove Foods, Texas Pest Control Association;
