Innovative Pest Control Products Receives Bait Station Design Patent

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Innovative Pest Control Products has been granted a new US patent # 6,871,441 for another bait station design. Additional patents based on this design are also pending. This will be the fourth patent issued to Innovative for insect bait station design. The new bait station, designed as a disposable, ready to use bait station for liquid baits can used in conjunction with liquid or gel baits, to control both ants and small roaches.

The new bait station benefits from a stable design that resists tipping and even, if fully inverted, will only allow a few drops of bait to spill out. The design also reduces exposure of the bait to the environment and keeps bait fresh and attractive longer.

Innovative expects this bait station to be available, prefilled with Gourmet Liquid Ant Bait, by September 2005. Gourmet Liquid Ant Bait has been shown to be attractive to a wide variety of sweet and protein feeding ants and in university tests, has demonstrated effectiveness on German cockroaches.
