HONOLULU, Hawaii - IPMT Inc. Receives Two Utility Patents from China Integrated Pest Management Technologies (IPMT Inc.) has just received two utility patents from the People's Republic of China. One patent is for a trash bag containing a fly strip to reduce the incidents of food-poisoning and other diseases from flying insects and various diseases from mosquitoes like the West Nile virus and malaria. The other patent is for an improved multi-purpose rodent baiting station.
Utility patents for these products also have been issued in the United States and other countries. The patent process in China took about a year and a half. IPMT Inc. has various other patents pending, one of which is for the Better Mouse and Rat Trap.
Earlier this year, IPMT Inc. had two U.S. trademarks approved: Doom-Stone Territory refers to the company’s line of rodent bait stations in the shape of a rock, and Grubsteak refers to its baits for attracting termites. Other trademarks are pending.
IPMT President and CEO Arthur Simpson will be representing IPMT Inc. at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas, May 17-19, at the Sands Lawn & Garden Convention Center booth # 21164.
