TROY, Mich. – Russ Ives, president of Rose Pest Solutions, headquartered in Troy, was recently elected president of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), headquartered in Fairfax, Va.
Ives will be the third generation in his family to hold this position when installed in October. His grandfather, Harlem Ives, served 1954-1955 and his father, H. William Ives, served 1977-1978.
NPMA is a nonprofit organization with more than 7,000 members from around the world. It was established in 1933 to support the pest management industry’s commitment to the protection of publish health, food and property.
“I’m delighted in my opportunity to serve as president of the NPMA. I’m humbled to carry on the tradition of service to this fine organization that began with my grandfather," said Ives.
Ives graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Amherst College and earned his MBA from Northwestern University – Kellogg School of Management. He has been president of Rose Pest Solutions for 23 years. He resides in Birmingham.
