J.F. Oakes Announces Research Findings for XLure

YAZOO CITY, Miss. — J.F.Oakes announced findings of an independent study of XLure Multi-Species Beetle Floor Traps in attracting & capturing Tribolium (flour beetles).

In the findings of the study, XLure Multi-Species Beetle Traps had a mean catch efficacy of more than 80% of the population of Tribolium in the test area after 24 hours. Additionally, the study confirmed the outside slope of the trap was not too steep for Tribolium to climb. Once inside the trap, Tribolium were unable to escape. XLure Multi-Species Beetle Floor Traps contain both pheromones and a special food attractant. Pheromones to attract Tribolium (red & confused flour beetles), Lasioderma serricorne (cigarette beetles), and Trogoderma (warehouse & khapra beetles) are loaded in each trap.
