ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Stanley Baker, chairman of J.T. Eaton, died at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg on Tuesday. He was 87.
Baker bought J.T. Eaton, which is headquartered in Twinsburg, Ohio, in 1949, using a $2,500 loan against his insurance policy. He later moved to the St. Petersburg, Fla., area.
Baker is survived by sons Bart and Benjamin Baker.
Graveside services were held in Cleveland on Sunday. Friends who wish may contribute to the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland or the Jewish Family Services Association. Arrangements under the direction of Berkowitz-Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel.
