AUSTIN, TEXAS – Beginning Sunday brothers Bobby, Raleigh and Dennis Jenkins, each of whom run pest control companies in Texas, embarked on their 2,380-mile charity bike ride from Calgary, Alberta, Canada to Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
The brothers left from Austin on Sunday morning, with the first stop in Marble Falls, Texas, then onward for 42 days to Calgary.
Sandy Jenkins, mother of Jenkins brothers, will be blogging daily and posting pictures to www.goanteater.com under "Brothers in Arms." Check the site for their daily progress.
The brothers are undertaking this challenge to raise money for their charities: Dennis Jenkins is raising money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. Raleigh Jenkins is raising for the Kidney Foundation. Bobby Jenkins is doing Caritas (a local Austin Charity). Dennis Jenkins said the goal is to raise $150,000 for these charities.
