Joe Wilson Retires as Chairman of the Board of MediCorp Health System

Wilson, owner of PermaTreat Pest Control, has retired as chairman of the board of MediCorp Health System. His retirement was effective Dec. 31, 2008, after serving on the MediCorp Board for 20 years.

WILSON RETIRES FROM MEDICORP BOARD. Joe Wilson, owner of PermaTreat Pest Control, Fredericksburg, Va., has retired as chairman of the board of MediCorp Health System. His retirement was effective Dec. 31, 2008, after serving on the MediCorp Board for 20 years.

MediCorp Health System is the Fredericksburg area's largest employer, with over 4,600 employees at Mary Washington Hospital and subsidiaries. This includes the newly opened Stafford Hospital Center, a state-of-the-art 100-bed hospital.

At a recent ceremony, Wilson was recognized by the MediCorp Board of Trustees for his keen vision and tireless leadership, contributing greatly to improving the health status of all people within the Fredericksburg community.

Fred M. Rankin, III, president and CEO of MediCorp, says, "Joe will be sorely missed. We are grateful that he has agreed to serve on our Mary Washington Hospital Foundation Board."
