ARLINGTON, Va. - Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment (RISE) announced the promotion of Jon Gaeta to senior director of government affairs. In his new role, Gaeta will be responsible for all aspects of the association’s state and local government relations advocacy and engagement.
Gaeta has been with RISE for five years, most recently serving as director of state affairs. During his tenure, he has built an effective and nimble state advocacy program, successfully addressing long-standing and emerging issues impacting the specialty pesticide and fertilizer industries.

Provost. “During the past five years Jon has grown our state affairs advocacy and stakeholder relations program to deliver exceptional policy outcomes for our industry. We are excited about the strategic vision and leadership he brings to this new role and to our industry advocacy."
Gaeta holds a bachelor of science degree from Illinois State University and Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
RISE is the national trade association representing manufacturers, formulators, distributors, and other industry leaders engaged with the specialty pesticides and fertilizers used by professional applicators and consumers.
