“We are keenly aware of the importance of technology, the environment and family friendly approaches,” explained Tim Blankenship, company vice president. “Our new name, All Pest Solutions, better indicates how we are much more proactive in preventing pests and solving problems before they happen, saving customers lots of headaches, time and money.”
In previous years, pest control personnel were typically referred to as “baseboard guys” or exterminators who would primarily walk around the inside of the property spraying the baseboards. Blankenship said today’s technicians are highly trained and certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, with a depth of knowledge about everything from chemical alternatives to soil types to building construction. “We’re pest management professionals,” said Blankenship. “We make it a point to know about the scientific aspect of our business, as well as the human factor such as safe solutions for families with children and pets.”
Founded in 1970 by Robert Byrd Blankenship, Tim’s grandfather, the third generation family-owned business has grown from a handful of customers to more than 4,000 customers primarily in Williamson County, as well as Davidson and Rutherford counties. “Some of our customers and our staff have been with us from the beginning,” said Blankenship. Four of the seven technicians have 20+ years of experience with the company. “We take great pride in providing personalized customer service and extraordinary response time. The stability of our staff helps us do that.”
