Knockout Pest Control Earns Quality Pro Green Designation

Knockout Pest Control — which serves Long Island, all of New York City, Westchester and Rockland Counties — recently received NPMA's QualityPro Green Designation.

UNIONDALE, N.Y. — Knockout Pest Control — which serves Long Island, all of New York City, Westchester and Rockland Counties —  recently received NPMA's QualityPro Green Designation.

“Now, more than ever, consumers are seeking pest management methods that not only address their household and commercial pest problems but also, address their concerns regarding the protection of the environment,” Arthur Katz, president of Knockout, said. “In proactively seeking – and receiving – our QualityPro Green designation, we are not only responding to the need to be environmentally sensitive but also to the fact that so many consumers are seeking out pest control services that they perceive as green.”

This Quality Pro Green designation not only reflects Knockout’s exceptional pest management services but also its commitment to cultivating an environmentally responsible business.

“We recognize that our customers want to be confident that the services performed in their homes and businesses are environmentally sensitive. Knockout Pest Control can assure customers of this as our practices and our business philosophy reflect green thinking,” said Katz.

Traditional pest control companies do little more than spraying pesticides, Katz said. “We employ a comprehensive, environmentally friendly approach when treating a property.”

All of Knockout’s services are Quality Pro Green. These include but are not limited to controlling termites, carpenter ants, roaches, rodents, birds, and more. Knockout has been offering eco-friendly service since 1995, when it introduced the Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System.

Knockout provides pest control services to the Garden City-based Albanese Organization, which  owns the first LEED Certified building on Long Island.

“Being green is easy and it’s not any more expensive than traditional pest control methods,” Katz noted.
