With the recent weather-related disasters, the work of organizations such as Habitat for Humanity have been at the forefront of many relief efforts. In 1987, the Suffolk affiliate of Habitat for Humanity was founded. This not-for-profit organization gives low income families an opportunity they may have never thought they would have; the opportunity to own their own home. In 2006 Habitat expects to complete their 100th house in Suffolk County.
Knockout features and uses the Dow AgroSciences’ Sentricon Termite Colony Elimination System, for which they have been authorized since 1995. “We are pleased to have the opportunity to help deserving families protect their dream homes by keeping them safe from termite infestation,” said Arthur M. Katz, president of Knockout Pest Control.
