LG Life Sciences has amended the label for Lambdastar 9.7% CS with Ecocap Technology to specifically include the brown marmorated stink bug, a pest that has become problematic in mid-Atlantic states. The product can be used indoors and outdoors to control this pest.
“LG Life Sciences has been tracking the introduction and rapid spread of the brown marmorated stink bug and kudzu bug into the U.S. from China,” said Patrick Callahan, national sales and marketing manager, LG Life Sciences. “Our experience shows that similar Lambdastar formulations that we sell for crop protection are good control agents versus stink bug species. Both pest species spend most of the year out in the flowering trees, shrubs, ornamental plants or kudzu. In the Spring when they emerge from overwintering and in the Fall when they are seeking harborage, they can cover the sunny side of structures. We felt it important to get these new invasive pests listed on our label as soon as possible.”
