Joey Toth, owner of Pitbull Pest Control, Las Vegas, was recently interviewed by Fox5Vegas about reports that the city is seeing more and more bed bug cases.
Toth told Fox5Vegas that increased travel, people having more interactions and pesticide resistance are reasons his company has seen a 50 percent increase in bed bug service requests during the last five years.
Toth said home remedies do not work and suggested that homeowners with bed bugs should reach out to pest control companies who treat using professional-grade pesticides, heat and/or fumigation. Toth also explained how to properly inspect a bed and surrounding areas for bed bugs.
