GIRT, N.J. - The Leaf Defier® Gutter Protection System can be used by pest management professionals as an add-on service offering. Leaf Defier consists of an open cell polyurethane insert specially shaped and cut to fit snugly into most gutter profiles, preventing leaves and debris from plugging gutters. Leaves and debris slide off the surface and blow away, keeping gutters free of organic materials that attract carpenter ants and other pests.

Leaf Defier is treated with a biocide, germicide and fungicide that inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, fungus, algae and moss. The sponge-like material also has a built in UV stabilizer and is treated with their proprietary Extreme Defiance Coating™ to prevent degradation from the elements and from the sun. The Leaf Defier exterior grade insert gutter protection system allows water to flow through into the gutter valley and out the downspout, even during the heaviest rainfalls.

The product is backed by a 25-year no-clog warranty and all that is required is a ladder and utility knife to install. Training is minimal.
