Legion Pest Management’s Poplin Wins Volunteer Service Award

MURRIETTA, Calif. - David Poplin with CDS Services, dba Legion Pest Management, was a recipient of President Biden’s Volunteer Gold Service Award.
 
The award showcases Poplin’s commitment to supporting veterans and the community, and further solidifies his position as a leader in the pest control industry. Poplin is a U.S. Marine Veteran who honorably served.  
 
Legion Pest Management also received a Certificate of Recognition for outstanding and invaluable service to veterans and the community from United States Congressman Ken Calvert and the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, presented by Chuck Washington.
 
Poplin is CEO and founder for CDS Services Inc., dba Legion Pest Management, a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) pest control company that he founded in 2013. Legion Pest Management provides pest control services to Southern California and CDS has a gvernment division offering pest control services to the federal government nationwide.  
 
“I am honored to receive such high recognition for all the hard work and dedication on behalf of my team under the leadership of our General Manager David Leitao,” Poplin said.
 
CDS Services has 12 employees with 40% being veterans or veteran spouses. CDS currently provides pest control services to approximately 12% of the Department of Veteran Affairs Medical Centers within the United States.
