LOS ANGELES — Legion Pest Management, under the leadership of former U.S. Marine David Poplin, was certified as a Veteran-Owned business by the Department of Veterans Affairs, on Jan. 24. Poplin has been in the pest industry for more than 20 years and in June 2013, created Legion Pest Management.
Legion Pest Management provides general pest control and termite services throughout Southern California. They have a mission to create opportunities to other veterans to join their team as they grow. For example, they hired an operations manager, a disabled veteran, in August 2013.
Poplin is licensed by the Structural Pest Control Board and is an Associated Certified Entomologist. Legion specializes in termites and bed bugs. With the exploding bed bug outbreak, keeping abreast of the most effective treatments methods and products is key to success.
Legion Pest Management is a member of PCOC (Pest Control Operators of California) and NPMA (National Pest Management Assoc). Poplin is also a member of The American Legion.
