PENSACOLA, Fla. - Kevin Lemasters announced the official launch of Action Leadership, providing business coaching and consulting services. After 30 years in the pest management industry, Lemasters is shifting his focus to help others build success in their business.
“Over the years, I have learned a lot from both my experiences and the experiences of others. I’m excited to have the opportunity to utilize that expertise to help others overcome challenges and build the success in business they want," Lemasters said.
Starting as a pest technician in the early 1990s, Lemasters would find himself falling in love with this industry. In 1997, Lemasters joined Midwest-based Schendel Pest Services, where he became the director of operations, overseeing eight offices in six states.
In 2011, Lemasters joined Copesan Services, where he was one of the pioneers of the service quality manager role, which provided support for more than 30 servicing companies throughout North America.
In 2013, Lemasters had an opportunity to move to Loveland, Colo., to be a partner and president of EnviroPest, leading the organization to become the largest family-owned pest control company in Northern Colorado. In 2020, EnviroPest sold to Anticimex where Lemasters remained to assist with the transition of the business.
Throughout the years, Kevin earned his Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification in 2007, was the president of the Colorado Pest Control Association (CPCA), a member of the NPMA board of directors, speaker in Rome, Italy for the Italian Pest Management Association, was recognized as the NPMA Public Policy Chair of the Year in 2020, and this past year was a PCT/Syngenta Crown Leadership honoree.
“When you can create a culture where people want to be there and take care of one another and the customers, you have something special," Lemasters said. "Coming alongside business owners and leaders to help them accomplish this is just the beginning of how I look to add value to our industry.”
