Since the beginning of 2003, LESCO has opened more than 60 new Service Centers and the company plans to open additional centers. Poole will be responsible for ensuring that LESCO continue opening these new selling entities as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Poole will report directly to Michael DiMino, LESCO’s president and chief executive officer. “Michael Poole has been responsible for opening new stores for well-known retailers like Talbot’s, Dairy Mart and Edison Brothers Stores, and he brings more than 25 years of successful retail design, planning and construction management experience to LESCO,” DiMino said. “He is clearly the perfect individual to manage this process for us.”
LESCO’s analysis of the turf care and pest management industries indicates that there is potential for the company to open at least 250 additional Service Centers.
