Liphatech also awarded two three-day passes to Walt Disney World® and an iPhone to other winners of the contest held at the National Pest Management Association’s PestWorld 2007 tradeshow in Orlando, Fla.

The Liphatech contest invited PMPs to learn about the design elements that make Liphatech’s AEGIS-RP bait station an economical and highly effective means to gain control of rodent populations. Contestants chose from three AEGIS-RP bait stations to open. The inside of each station contained a colored dot that represented one of the three prizes. Contestants were then entered into a raffle to win the corresponding prize. Ray Finke, business director, Liphatech Pest Management Products, said the contest literally gave PMPs the ability to experience the benefits of AEGIS-RP firsthand.

“When it comes to servicing bait stations, the goal is to increase profits by getting in and out,” said Finke. “This contest gave PMPs the chance to see how the AEGIS-RP bait station allows them to do precisely that and more – yet have some fun in the learning process.”

The AEGIS-RP features rounded inside corners, which eliminate the potential for debris getting caught in the interior wall and floor joints for fast and easy cleanout. The station also opens quickly and effortlessly with a single key. Additionally, the AEGIS-RP is the only rodent bait station designed exclusively for rodenticide placement that opens away from the wall, according to Liphatech. The design allows for a writing surface and/or data storage area on the station’s lid enabling PMPs to keep track of useful data such as service dates and bait consumption.
