SAN DIEGO – San Diego-based Lloyd Pest Control acquired the customer base of Southern California’s Sunland Pest Control on June 1.
Sunland Pest Control, founded in 1968 by Byrl Hays, has remained a family-held corporation throughout its 37 years of existence. “Lloyd Pest Control is family-owned,” said Sunland’s Hays. “They seemed to be best aligned with our culture and our style of customer service.”
Lloyd Pest Control was ranked 26th on the 2005 PCT Top 100. The company has taken on some of the technician and clerical staff of Sunland in order to handle the increased base of maintenance customers.
