In October 2006, Paysen was named Young Scientist of Year by Bayer Environmental Science. Paysen will be completing his Ph.D. in entomology from Clemson University in the second quarter of this year. Paysen has spent the last eight years at Clemson University working toward his Ph.D. During this time he has won numerous awards and scholarships.

Paysen will take over for Scott Crowley who has recently promoted to COO of Lloyd Termite Control.
