JT Eaton
TWINSBURG, Ohio –– JT Eaton announced Isabelle Lucero to the position of Education and Compliance Officer, joining the 92-year-old pest control company’s team.
Lucero comes to the team with a master's in entomology from University of Kentucky and a wealth of experience researching bait consumption and efficacy, specializing in German cockroaches. In university, she excelled in her field, becoming president of the H. Garman Club, the entomology graduate student organization.
As Education and Compliance Officer at JT Eaton, Lucero will be focusing on educating pest management professionals and the everyday consumer on the importance of pest control to create a healthier and safer world. She will also work with EPA regulators and consultants to review items for federal and state compliance.
Lucero will work closely with the Rodenticide Task Force, an organization of industry professionals dedicated to the appropriate and effective use of rodenticides to protect public health, food safety, and property while protecting the environment and non-target animals. Rodents cause roughly $20 billion in damage to homes, businesses, and agriculture every year and spread over 35 diseases worldwide. Without proper management, rodent damage and disease can spread.
“I am very excited to welcome Isabelle to the team,” said Dale Baker, president of JT Eaton. “This new role within the organization will play an important part in our mission to manufacture and distribute products that protect families and businesses, and Isabelle is the perfect person for the job.”
