Marathon Names Jagannathan COO

Shankar Jagannathan, formerly of EMC, will lead Marathon’s business operations and spearhead all strategic initiatives related to corporate strategy, business and corporate, acquisitions and long-term financial planning.

WALL, N.J. — Marathon Data Systems announced Shankar Jagannathan as chief operation officer.
Jagannathan comes to Marathon from EMC, where he led Global Product Management for a significant portfolio of Cloud and infrastructure management products as VP of Products & Strategy for the Advanced Software Division.   As COO, Jagannathan will lead Marathon’s business operations and spearhead all strategic initiatives related to corporate strategy, business and corporate, acquisitions and long-term financial planning.
