Andrea Massey-Farrell Named an Orlando Woman of the Year

Massey Services announced that Andrea Massey-Farrell, president of the Harvey & Carol Massey Foundation and senior vice president of community relations, has been selected by Orlando Magazine as one of their 2020 Women of the Year.


ORLANDO, Fla. — Massey Services announced that Andrea Massey-Farrell, president of the Harvey & Carol Massey Foundation and senior vice president of community relations, has been selected by Orlando Magazine as one of their 2020 Women of the Year.   
 
The award recognizes influential women who are proactively making a positive impact in the Orlando community. A recognizable face in Central Florida, in the past year, Massey-Farrell has overseen the distribution of over $5 million in charitable contributions and more than $90,000 in in-kind services. She has led multiple charitable and volunteer initiatives throughout all of Massey Services’ markets. 
 
Moreover, Massey-Farrell has donated her time to serve on the board of several organizations including Florida Nemours Hospital, Central Florida YMCA, Mead Botanical Garden, Orlando Shakes Theater and more.
 
“I’m honored to be recognized as a Woman of the Year from Orlando Magazine,” Massey-Farrell said. “I’m passionate about what our company and foundation does to support our community and am very proud to see the impact we’re making throughout all the communities where we do business.”
 
In addition to the positions that she holds in numerous organizations, Massey-Farrell has been a proud supporter ofseveral non-profit organizations including Autism Speaks, United Way and United Arts of Central Florida, Junior Achievement of Central Florida and the American Heart Association. She is a frequent speaker at the Edyth Bush Institute for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership and volunteers at numerous arts and educational organizations.
