Massey Names Elias Senior VP & CFO; Promotes Nowry

Gwyn Elias has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer of Massey Services, while Jean Nowry has been promoted to VP, corporate services officer.

ORLANDO – Harvey L. Massey, president and CEO of Massey Services, announced the appointment of Gwyn Elias to the position of senior vice president and chief financial officer of Massey Services.  

Elias is a chartered accountant and a graduate of the University of Port Elizabeth in South Africa. He first joined the company in 1987 and was instrumental in helping Massey Services grow into the industry leader it is today. Elias left Massey Services in 1999 to return to his hometown of Capetown, South Africa.

 “We are delighted to welcome Gwyn back,” said Harvey Massey. “He has been both a great personal friend and a tremendous asset to Massey Services and his return will provide additional strength to our senior management team.”

In his new role, Elias will oversee the overall financial management of Massey Services as well as wholly owned subsidiaries, MSI Aviation and MPB Communications.

Jean Nowry

Massey Services, also announced the appointment of Jean Nowry to the position of vice-president, corporate services officer for Massey Services.  

Nowry completed her bachelors degree in accounting at St. Thomas Aquinas College and has been a part of the Massey team since 1998. She has previously served on the Massey executive staff as both controller and as chief financial officer. In her new position, Nowry will be overseeing corporate operations including general accounting, human resources, information systems and technology, business integration and corporate strategy.  She will also be responsible for all administrative training and development.
