ORLANDO, Fla. — Massey Services announced that they have been recognized as an Orlando Business Journal “Golden 100” company and “Elite 50” – both accolades spotlighting Central Florida’s top privately held companies. Over 300 companies were surveyed in the Central Florida area, encompassing Lake, Orange, Seminole and Osceola counties.
This Golden 100 list is based on gross revenue for the most recent year-end. This year, Massey Services was ranked number 12 on the list. For the past ten years, the company has made the Golden 100 and has ranked within the top 20 companies listed.
Orlando Business Journal also announced Massey Services as part of their first-ever Elite 50 list, which includes the top 25 companies on the Golden 100 List and the top 25 companies on their Fast 50 list. The new Elite 50 list was created to honor local, privately-held companies who have achieved great success in the past year.
“It’s an honor for our company to be recognized alongside these outstanding private companies in Central Florida,” said Harvey L. Massey, Chairman and CEO of Massey Services. “This accolade is an incredible recognition for all of our Team Members. Our success is due in large part to their hard work, dedication and commitment, which allows our company to continue to grow profitably.”
Combined revenue for firms that made this year’s Golden 100 was $8.6 billion. Companies were evaluated on criteria including being at least 51% privately-owned and operated in Central Florida.
