“I am honored to be recognized by the EarthWeb Foundation,” Massey said. “Massey Services has been dedicated to providing environmentally responsible services for 25 years. It is an intrinsic value of ours to promote the growth and well-being of our community, our industry and the protection of our environment for generations to come.”
A 45-year veteran of the pest management and landscape services industry, Harvey Massey has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Board of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) where he was able to make a positive difference. Mr. Massey pioneered the concept of pest prevention and was an early adaptor of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in the early 1990s. Through these initiatives he worked to create and promote a healthier environment for Florida residents.
“Mr. Massey’s vast contributions to the environment and community are quite admirable,” said Dr. Oswald Saavedra, founder of the EarthWeb Foundation. “It was time for Mr. Massey to be recognized as an environmental, community and educational leader and the EarthWeb Foundation is proud to add him to our Wall of Heroes.”
