Massey Services
ORLANDO, Fla. – Massey Services announced the promotion of Blaine Helsby to senior director of accounting and reporting, and Melissa Meyer to senior director of human resources.
Since joining Massey in 2023, Helsby has consistently demonstrated a strong ability to identify inefficiencies and implement innovative solutions that have streamlined various accounting functions, the company said. His strategic thinking and collaborative mindset have strengthened communication across the various Accounting teams.
In his new role, Helsby will focus on developing solutions that update workflows and reduce processing times for improved productivity in the accounting and reporting departments.
Helsby is a University of Central Florida graduate, earning both a master's and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration, with minors in marketing and hospitality. He is also a licensed CPA.
“Blaine’s dedication to innovation and efficiency has been instrumental in enhancing our accounting and reporting processes,” said Marci Baugh, vice president of finance and accounting. “His ability to implement strategic solutions and foster collaboration has made a significant impact, and I am confident that his leadership will continue to improve workflow in our department.”
Meyer joined Massey Services in 2005 as an office manager in the Port Orange Service Center. In 2014, she transitioned to the administrative training team, where her leadership skills quickly earned her a promotion to director within three years. In 2022, Melissa was appointed director of human resources, where she has been instrumental in strengthening HR operations and meeting the needs of Massey’s growing workforce.
As senior director of human resources, Melissa will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including policies, compliance, benefits and workers’ compensation, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
