ORLANDO, Fla. — Massey Services announced the promotion of Marcelo Aponte to division manager over three service centers that once comprised Peninsular Pest Control Company.
Aponte joined Massey Services in 2016 as a general manager in training. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to general manager of the North Jacksonville Service Center. For six years, he led his team to success with his strong commitment to service excellence and growth.
In June 2022, Aponte took on the responsibility of overseeing the management and integration of the newly acquired Peninsular Pest Control Company in Jacksonville, Fla. In this role, Aponte was responsible for welcoming Massey’s newest 30,000 customers and providing the proper training for Massey’s 70 new team members on company protocols and treatments as well as incorporating the Massey culture into the service center.
“Marcelo has done an excellent job managing the Peninsular Pest acquisition integration over the last year,” said Ed Dougherty, executive vice president and chief operating officer. “Marcelo’s promotion will be a key component in our continued growth in the Northeast Florida Region, and I know he will take on this new role with the same passion he has demonstrated throughout his career at Massey Services.”
