ORLANDO, Fla. — Massey Services recently leaped 38 spots in the Florida Trend 350 Largest Businesses Ranking, making the privately-held pest management and landscape services company one of the largest businesses in the state of Florida.
“Our customers and our team members have made it possible to reach this milestone,” said Tony Massey, president and chief operating officer for Massey Services. “We are very proud of our accomplishments and look forward to continued success.”
The Florida Trend 350 is an exclusive list, released annually, of the state's largest public and privately-held companies, ranked by revenue. Massey Services reported a 2010 revenue of more than $129 million.
In December 2009, Massey Services acquired Middleton Lawn & Pest Control, propelling the company to become the fifth largest pest management and landscape services company in the United States. Headquartered in Orlando, Fla., Massey Services employs nearly 1,200 team members and provides pest, termite and landscape services to nearly 300,000 customers.
Founded in 1985 by Harvey L. Massey, Massey Services is the largest privately-held, family-owned organization in the pest management industry.
