JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - McCall Service joined a local non-profit, Hunger Fight, for the 10th Annual Hunger Fight event, supporting the donation of over 208,000 meals for children in two hours. All of McCall’s Jacksonville offices came together to donate their time and support to the event, one they look forward to each year. McCall's Jacksonville offices have supported Hunger Fight for four years.
“This event is fun, high energy, and a great way for us to give back to our community in a big way,” Nate D., Jacksonville East's Service Center Manager. “We’re grateful for the opportunity to bring everyone in McCall’s Jacksonville service area together for an incredible cause that we know will pay dividends for years down the line.”
The three McCall teams boxed 37 cases, or 1,554 meals, to contribute to the final 200,000+ total Hunger Fight donated. Hunger Fight started in 2012 to provide all children and families with access to food, books, and the tools necessary to achieve success in future endeavors. Since inception, the organization packaged and delivered over 16 million meals and 201,000 books.
McCall’s teams look forward to supporting this organization further in the future. If you or your team would like to get involved, find out more information at https://hungerfight.org/.
