GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Construction started early last year, and McCall Service not only celebrates 89 years in the Pest Services Industry but opens a new technical training facility in Newberry, Fla.
Cory Goeltzenleuchter, graduate entomologist and training director, said, ”The Gainesville Training Center is geared to be the hub for all instructional classroom training for our company. We are directly geared to offer residential and commercial pest control instruction as well as termite training. The classroom will hold up to 16 employees and has a residential kitchen and bathroom for detailed training. We also have microscopes and monitors to show and teach insect biology using our insect collections.”
In addition to the building, there is a 500-square-foot training concrete slab. This slab has two different types of foundations, an attached slab to simulate a porch, four building construction elements and other various elements for hands on termite treatment and inspection training. “This facility is one of a kind and will teach methods for both preventative and curative treatments, this is an exciting time for our company,” said Goeltzenleuchter.
All McCall Service employees from service professionals, sales, management and administration will utilize the Gainesville Training Center.
