MIAMI, Fla. – Mega Bee Rescues, a family-owned bee rescue and hive relocation service across Miami and Broward counties, recently launched its newest business venture: Mega Bee Honey.
Mega Bee Honey is the creation of beekeeper couple Jean Navarro and Ana Angulo Perez, co-founders of Mega Bee Rescues, on a mission to protect pollinators and offer a more natural alternative to mass-produced honey. Born from their shared passion for nature and purpose, Mega Bee Honey was never part of the original plan, the couple said.
But as their company's vision grew stronger, so did their commitment to creating something better, Navarro said.
“Every jar reflects the care and intention behind it: real honey, from real people, doing real work to protect pollinators and the environment,” said Navarro. “We hope Mega Bee Honey inspires people to choose products that reflect a deeper purpose.”
The Mega Bee Rescues bee removal team uses natural methods to locate and remove the entire hive from properties before safely relocating the bees and their hive to an apiary.
And now, the couple are taking it to the next level with its 100% raw honey product, sourced straight from the hive itself.
“People have been asking about it for so long; it’s really a passion project that turned into something much bigger,” said Navarro. “We wanted to do something that felt meaningful, and creating this honey was a way for us to start giving back.”
