MGK Introduces Evergreen Insecticides

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. –  MGK has launched two new Evergreen products — Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate and Evergreen Pyrethrum Dust. Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate and Evergreen Pyrethrum Dust kill a broad spectrum of insects both indoors and outdoors using pure botanical insecticide. There is no synergist added and the fast-acting pyrethrins photo-degrade rapidly in sunlight.  This makes Evergreen products sensible for most IPM protocols, MGK reports.

 “Additionally, MGK uses a proprietary refining process that meets strict organic guidelines, enabling both products to be OMRI listed for use in organic food and livestock processing facilities,” says Ian Thorburn, Market Manager for MGK. “The Evergreen products join a very short list of materials that can be used in these sensitive accounts.”

In addition to organically compliant locations, the products have a wide range of use sites including homes, hotels, hospitals, apartments, office buildings, restaurants, and conventional food and livestock facilities.

Both products are registered for sale and use by the EPA and in all states except for Evergreen Pyrethrum Concentrate in Florida, Maine, and New York, where applications are pending and approval is expected in the near future.
