MGK Introduces Sector Misting Concentrate

MINNEAPOLIS – Sector Misting Concentrate is a unique new water-based insecticide from McLaughlin Gormley King Company (MGK). Sector is specially designed for residential mosquito control systems and barn misting systems for fly control. Sector achieves high-level performance by combining the active ingredient Permethrin with the insecticide synergist Piperonyl Butoxide (PBO). Sector can be used in situations with extremely high mosquito populations or other tough-to-control pests such as biting midges and no-see-ums.

Sector’s formulation is built on the water-based polymeric surfactant system technology also found in the misting concentrate Riptide® Waterbased Pyrethrin ULV. Sector is stable in solution and will not harm most common ornamental plants. Designed for use in misting systems, Sector is convenient to handle and mix, and provides a stable dilution in water — making it ideal for misting systems.

Along with misting system use, Sector is labeled for application in livestock facilities, in and around commercial structures, and can be used indoors in non-food areas.
