RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – BASF announced the hiring of Michael Littell for the position of product manager for the Professional Pest Control group.
In his position, Littell will help oversee the tactical marketing efforts for BASF’s line of professional pest control products. He will serve as a day-to-day liaison between the marketing and sales staffs at BASF, and act as the point of contact for BASF’s advertising and public relations teams.
Littell joins the Professional Pest Control group, bringing significant sales and managerial experience with the Andersen Group, a global medical device manufacturer. In separate General Manager capacities with Anderson Sterilizers between 2000 and 2005 and earlier with Anderson Scientific between 1998 and 2000, he provided leadership, accountability and key customer support, which ultimately resulted in increased profitability for both groups.
In all, Littell brings with him nine years of sales and managerial expertise, and has made significant accomplishments in each position he’s held.
“BASF’s management team is extremely excited to bring on Michael Littell," said Karl J. Kisner, senior marketing manager for BASF's Professional Pest Control group. "We’re certain his outside industry experience will help us grow and bring new ideas and projects forward with the Professional Pest Control group.”
Littell received his bachelor’s degree in animal science from North Carolina State University and is a member of the American Association of Medical Instrumentation, Advanced Medical Technology and American Society for Quality.
