Michigan Pest Control Association Hires Rhonda Wise as Executive Secretary

Wise graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2002, and was previously an account executive with Momentum Worldwide.

FRAZIER, Mich. — Rhonda Wise of Warren, Mich., has accepted the position of executive secretary with the Michigan Pest Control Association (MPCA).

Wise graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2002, majoring in public relations and with a minor in marketing.

Before accepting the position with MPCA, she was an account executive with Momentum Worldwide. She also has served as the executive director for the Branch County (Michigan) United Way and marketing director for the Branch County Economic Growth Alliance.

“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to both work and be home for my children,” Wise said.

Wise will replace Chris Arnold, who will resign the position at the end of 2007. Arnold has served in the position for more than a decade and is leaving to pursue her teaching degree in early education with a major in science at Wayne State University. She will start student teaching in January 2008, and graduate in May. She would like to teach an elementary class or any junior high-level science class in the Frasier School District. “It’s a bittersweet time. I’m excited for the future, but I’m also sentimental about leaving the association,” she said.
