FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Sunair Services Corporation has acquired the assets of South Florida-based Howell Environmental, Inc., which will be integrated into Sunair's wholly owned subsidiary Middleton Lawn & Pest Control. This second acquisition in South Florida is strategic in building the Middleton brand across a new and important service region, in addition to marking an entry into Martin and Dade counties.
Founded in 1982 and headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla., the company will be integrated into Middleton. Howell Environmental Services provides lawn and shrub care, subterranean termite and pest control services to customers throughout Palm Beach, Martin, Broward and Dade counties.
"This addition further signifies our focus on expanding and growing our service in South Florida and grants us entry into Martin and Dade counties. It also reinforces our service delivery platform in two markets we recently entered, Palm Beach and Broward counties," said John Hayes, Chief Executive Officer of Sunair. "We are pleased to have Howell join our team of specialists as we continue to acquire quality companies who share our vision for growth."
"As our second acquisition in the South Florida region, Howell Environmental is strategic to our efforts in building the Middleton brand, establishing our competitive position, and extending our reputation for service and operational excellence across this new and important service region," said Greg Clendenin, Chief Executive Officer of Middleton Lawn & Pest Control. "The Howell family has a long history of providing the same high quality and customer centric service that is ingrained in the Middleton culture. We are excited to have them as a member of the Middleton family."
