Interpest, Inc. is a combination service and consulting business. The company operates on a zero-tolerance basis and emphasizes the importance of food safety in all of its programs from farm to fork. The operations are overseen by McGuinness, an entomologist with 15 years of experience in helping major poultry plants, snack food companies, restaurant groups, hospital systems and finer hotels meet and exceed their quality initiatives. McGuinnes was honored by PCT in 2003 as one of its "40 Under 40."
McGuinness said first quarter earnings (October 1, 2004 – December 31, 2004) for Interpest were higher than expected and speaks well about the need for this type of service in the metro-Atlanta area.
“Because I have the resources and expertise to oversee each client’s program, I can continually fine-tune their needs,” said McGuinness. “Our goal is to provide measurable results, unbeatable service and expertise that impresses our clients, competitors and industry manufacturers. I think it’s safe to say that the way we do business will be the benchmark by which all other companies are measured in the months to come.”
