Minnesota Structural Pest Management Conference Set For March 13-14

The Minnesota Structural Pest Management Conference will be held March 13-14 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Structural Pest Management Conference will be held March 13-14 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

During the past few years the conference has grown considerably, which is why the conference will be held at the convention center, a venue that provides space for attendee comfort, and a needed expansion for supply exhibitors.

This agenda for this year’s conference includes a number of high-quality speakers, including: Dr. Fred Whitford (Purdue University), Dr. John Klotz (University of California, Riverside), Rick Cooper (Cooper’s Pest Solutions), Jeff Holper (Holper’s Pest & Animal Solutions), Dr. Karen Vail (University of Tennessee), Dr. Gerald Wegner (Varment Guard Environmental Services), and Gene White (Rose Pest Solutions). In addition to presentations during the General Session, the Minnesota conference provides additional sessions this year on Fumigation, Right of Way Spraying, and Landscape Pest Management. These sessions are provided to help Minnesota pest management professionals obtain complete recertification requirements for all of their license classes, within a two day training period.

In addition to the Minnesota Structural Pest Management Conference, University of Minnesota’s Entomology Department also runs the Minnesota Food Plant Pest Management Conference for those seeking recertification in non-commercial pest management related to food plants. This conference runs on the second day of the Structural conference (click here to view the brochure).
