PHOENIX, Ariz. — Burns Pest Elimination announced the promotion of longtime employee Monica Chesley to director of commercial sales. She has been with the company since 1995.
In her 27 years at Burns, Chesley has focused heavily on sales and management responsibilities. As director of commercial sales, she will be responsible for overseeing the business development for all of Burns’ commercial service verticals.
"It’s not very often that people stay in a job for over 27 years, but Monica has an incredible commitment to our company," said Dave Burns, owner of Burns Pest Elimination. "Her strong leadership skills, coupled with her personal knowledge and diversity in the different verticals of the company, make her the perfect candidate. We are thrilled to have Monica join our leadership team. It’s well deserved."
A Phoenix native, Chesley has developed client relationships within several industries, including healthcare, commercial, industrial, multi-housing, restaurants and HOAs. She has held many roles within the Burns organization, including office manager, sales manager, business development manager and, most recently, branch manager.
"What the Burns family has built is not just another company; it truly is a second family with an environment and culture that fosters growth, improvement and helps their employees build a fulfilling career," said Chesley. "I’m so proud to have been here for decades and look forward to what this next chapter holds."
