Customer Newsletter Ends, New Homeowner Program Starts

After 34 years of producing the Pest Bulletin customer newsletter for pest control companies, Dr. Wayne Moore of Moore Consulting is halting production. Their winter 2022/2023 is their last quarterly issue. 

 

Moore said, “We weren’t promoting the newsletter, and as pest control companies were bought by other companies, we ended up customizing the newsletter for fewer than 40 companies. This year we were also having problems consistently getting the paper supplies we wanted for the companies who wanted printed copies. I just felt it was time to move onto something new, plus something that would be highly valuable to more pest control companies.” 

 

Moore said his consulting firm "looked long and hard" to find something they could do extremely well that would be highly valuable to pest control companies. The result was a New Homeowner mailing program to reach new homeowners for pest control companies. “The pest control company picks the areas and we do everything else p we get the new homeowner names and addresses, and print, personalize and mail the mailers to bring in new customers. It is easy, dependable, and even better--less expensive than other ways to gain new customers,” he said.
