PHOENIX, Ariz. — As part of a community outreach effort, Moxie Pest Control launched a scholarship program to help families address financial constraints related to college education.
The company has just announced Osa Neal as the very first recipient of the scholarship.
Moxie Pest Control believes in helping people achieve their goals and supporting higher education. Since its inception, the company has regularly spent towards education and tuition bonuses for their employees. Their latest initiative Moxie Customer Service Scholarship will offer $500 during each fall and spring semester. The company encourages all future and current college students to apply for this scholarship. All applicants are required to submit a 500-word essay describing an instance of providing efficient customer service and its outcome.
Founded by Jason and Kristen Walton in 1999, Moxie Pest Control is passionate about helping individuals, families, and communities live safe and happy lives. However, rather than their pest control service, the company's unique values has earned them the position of a responsible corporate citizen.
Arizona branch manager Austin Clark said, "This scholarship was designed as a funding solution to college education related problems with an emphasis on helping the community based on the company's philosophy of excellent customer service. Quality education is not available to many because of their financial constraints. We are extremely happy because now we have the very first recipient of the scholarship and are confident about making a long-term impact."
