MANISTEE, Mich. — The Michigan Pest Management Association (MPMA) will hold a fishing tournament to raise funds for an MPMA scholarship. The tournament will take place on Aug. 18 at Manistee, Mich., on Lake Michigan. Last year, the charter fishing trip raised more than $1,800.
Those wanting to participate must have a valid Michigan state fishing license. The cost per person for the entire day is $250, and there will be four to six people per boat. All proceeds will go towards the scholarship fund.
More details will be available once a fixed number of people attending is determined.
