Scarborough hosts “Morning Joe,” a daily newscast that is one of the most popular and most talked about shows on television. He also provides on-air political commentary for the network, as well as CNBC and NBC’s ”Today” show. But he’s more than just a commentator. With over six years of experience in public office, he has practiced what he currently preaches. At Legislative Day’s keynote presentation, sponsored by Dow AgroSciences, Joe will offer his insight on hot political topics and the people shaping our times. Widely admired for his candor, Joe Scarborough will leave the Legislative Day audience riveted and keep them thinking.
Congressman Roy Blount (R-MO) will participate in the luncheon presentation, “Change - What It Means for the Pest Management Industry,” sponsored by FMC Professional Solutions. In conjunction with a panel discussion, this program will take a look at pending issues on Capitol Hill and upcoming legislation, and what the Obama administration and a more Democratic Congress means for the pest management industry.
“We are fortunate and just thrilled to have both of these men added to our Legislative Day program,” said NPMA’s senior vice president Bob Rosenberg. “Attending Legislative Day is a tremendous opportunity for our industry to communicate its concerns to Congress and make a difference. I strongly encourage PMPs to join us on Capitol Hill in next week.”
Joe Scarborough will replace Chuck Todd as the Monday afternoon keynote speaker.
NPMA’s Legislative Day is a once a year opportunity that combines pest management industry visits with lawmakers and their staff with an educational program and keynote presentations. Visit www.npmapestworld.org/events or call 703.352.6762 for more information.
