Mug-A-Bug Adds Pair of Associate Certified Entomologists

Charles Osborne and Jorge Ortiz recently earned ACE certification.

Two Mug-A-Bug Pest and Termite employees successfully earned their Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) Certifications from the Entomological Society of America (ESA).  They include service managers Charles Osborne and Jorge Ortiz.

The ESA is the largest organization in the world serving the professional and scientific needs of the entomologists and others involved in the pest control industry.

The ACE certification was launched in 2004 and is designed to benefit the practicing Pest Management Professionals. To be eligible to take the ACE exam, candidates must have a current pesticide applicators license, a minimum of seven (7) years of verifiable pest management experience, and a willingness to adhere to the ACE code of ethics.

“Having two two ACES’ on our staff speaks to the quality of our employees and the level of professional service we provide to our customers,” said James Whidden, owner and president of Mug-A-Bug Pest Control. Charles and Jorge now join only one other ACE in the state of Colorado and a total of only 349 nationwide.
