FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Natural State Pest Control has selected high school senior Jenna Beasley from Fayetteville High School to receive its annual Benn Banks Memorial Scholarship Fund for high school student athletes who display passionate and unwavering character!
The Benn Banks Memorial Scholarship Fund was developed to honor and remember Benn Banks who in 2014 was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, adenoid cystic carcinoma. Banks, a former high school and collegiate football athlete at Air Force, showed incredible fight and character, and this yearly $1,000 fund is for student-athletes who show similar fight and character.
Jenna Beasley showed similar character to Benn after she had to overcome shoulder surgery her senior year, and helped to lead the Fayetteville High School Cheer Team to capture the state title. "“This year taught me to work hard no matter the circumstances, and always show kindness,” she said.
