RALEIGH, N.C. - In honor of National Pest Management Month in April, the North Carolina Pest Management Association (NCPMA) has launched the NCPMA PestLine, an electronic hotline that will allow consumers to get answers to their pest management questions directly from experts, the association announced.
"We recognize that consumers have many questions about prevention and treatment of pest management problems," said Lee Smith, entomologist and board member of NCPMA. "The NCPMA PestLine will allow consumers to get answers to those questions and connect directly with pest management companies in their local area."
PestLine will accept questions through:
- Emails to pestline@ncpestmanagement.org
- Twitter @ncpestmgmt with the hashtag #ncpmapestline
- Facebook, NC Pest Management Association
"Consumers rely on email and social media for everything, and we want to provide them with the easiest way to reach pest experts as well," Smith said.
PestLine began on April 1 and will last through the end of the month.
